MJF Books requested book covers for their re-release of Ian Fleming’s James Bond novels. The covers needed to be cohesive as a set and had to uniquely represent each book’s plot. To appeal to a slightly younger audience, inspiration was drawn from Apple for it’s recognizable and youthful appeal. This design will also focus the audience more on the content rather than any extra decorative details. Different colors were used for each book in order to make the covers cohesive as a set, while standing apart from one another.
